Stress!!!!

my life is crazy!!! 

first - great news - we have a tentative court date for Friday, Sept. 19.  This means that R will take A to court for us and he will officially be a Davidson!  Please pray that nothing changes with our paperwork and we will have a new son in 10 days!

second - Hurricane Ike!  We are actually boarding up and leaving town in a few hours.  We just moved and are still in boxes, but we are not taking a chance with this thing.  The inside scoop from our wonderful farmer friend is that we could potentially see 12 FEET of rain!  yes, feet, not inches.  so... we are heading out today with some great friends.  Church and school is cancelled - the city is shutting down.  

in the midst of all that, I am planning on getting my shots for my trip to Ghana, plan for my trip, get my visa, work on the interior design for the new church building and get unpacked and settled into this new house.  whew!  

so.. off we go - please join us in prayer about the court date and that we would not find any significant damage when we come back home.
