wow i have made it to day 6. i am actually learning my way around here and feeling fairly comfortable.
this morning we went to TK Bead Factory - where they crush glass bottles and make beads out of them. we got to see them making beads and then we bought our fair share. :)
we also got a coconut at a road side stand and drank the milk and them ate the meat. it was an experience, but i will take the sweetened stuff at the grocery store in the US.
we went with lisa to file her I-600 and then stopped at a basket stand. so many beautiful handmade baskets from the northern region where apollo is from. umm.... yeah, bought some of those too.
a quick stop at the mall for pizza and to buy formula for the babies and we went back to bh for the evening. we played wit the kids and help feed the babies at dinner - banku and okra stew again.
after apollo got his bath, we snuggled on the couch watching a movie while he played with my hair. he wrapped his arms around my neck and said, "i love my mom"...... tear.....
i said, "i love my son"..... precious.
he fell sleep in my arms for the 2nd time tonight. i stared at him and kissed his face, and smelled his hair..
..all things i will hold onto as i head back west over the Atlantic on Wednesday morning.
*i called about my I-600 today and it is not ready....
