today was an incredible time at church as we had the very last service at the old campus. it was sweet, poignant, spirit-filled, moving... as i stood there looking at the stage set with candles and the cross and as i listened to the unplugged and worshipful music, so many emotions came flooding over me. it was impossible to contain it as the tears spilled out of my eyes. the memories of that awful night, July 18, 2004. the pain and agony of events a year and a half ago. the joy of the adoption, the ever-growing bond with micah and love of my children. it was overwhelming. the lord's supper, the baptisms, it was a perfect way to end our time at that campus. for all those who have left the church because of hurt feelings, or preferences, it doesn't matter - moving to the new location is a new beginning, a fresh start. i can not wait to see what God has planned for real life fellowship, for my family and for me personally.

yes, David is gone. Since September and through mid-December. I would say that I'm praying Apollo makes it home before David, but actually I'm praying a HUGe miracle that God works and he comes home with you on this trip. You know I don't know, but believing God can do it is enough for me to pray it.
oh, hearing about the last service in the old campus, the only campus we knew is hard on my heart. We still miss it too much, real life fellowship that is. I just smile when I remember.
The new church is so beautiful! Thank you so much for all you and Micah do for RLF. We love you guys so much and are so proud to be a part of this awesome team! Can't wait to cry with you on Sunday! Really can't wait to hear all about the trip when you get back and finally meet that precious son of yours soon!
