i would love to putting up a post that we got the call and they found the death certificate they need and that the official adoption decree came in..
but i'm not.
we have no news...
no phone call...
no exciting email...
i have pictures on my mantel of our new son
i have a tracing of his little feet on my refrigerator
i have an empty bed in the boys room
i have an ache in my heart that he is not here
please Lord, bring him home. produce the documents that are needed.
give me a phone call telling me it is time to travel
let Apollo know we love him and let him sense your Spirit

Lori, I know waiting can be unsettling, especially when your heart aches for something so wonderful! Here's my prayer for you.
Father, please give Lori a peace in her heart that only You can supply. Let the document be found, and the phone call made, so that You can bring Apollo to his loving home here in Corpus. There are so many here that are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Apollo, but none more than his new mother. Please keep Apollo safe and let him feel Your presence and his family's love. Bring him home Father. I ask this in your Holy, Precious Name. Amen.

Praying for you during this uncertain and exciting time. You may or may not know that we adopted two children from Russia in 2004 (now 9 and 8); I remember waiting for the paperwork to clear and how time was so short I needed to drive from FW to Austin to get the paperwork validated.
